Facilities Available
- NIT Jalandhar provides bus transport to facilitate commuting from the campus to the city. There are two regular buses.
- Open Air Theatre is venue for many events like UTKANSH, Tech Fests, International Conference, movie shows etc.
- Institute has one guest house within the campus. The Guest House has altogether 17 A/c Suites with a TV, Internet Facility, VoIP and a Blower in each room.
- Gymnasium is the facility for indoor sports such as badminton, table tennis etc.
- The Library has 1,03,456 volumes comprising books, standards, theses, CD-ROM, bound volumes of journals and videocassettes pertaining to various disciplines of Science, Engineering and Technology.
College Pros
- Internet facility is provided in most of the hostels. Other facilities like geysers, water purifiers and water coolers are provided in all the hostels.
- Campus has a couple of food joints in which a wide variety of South Indian and North Indian dishes are available.

During the 2020 placement drive, a total of 26 double-job offers were floated.
The campus has a shopping center that caters to the needs of the students and residents. The Shopping Centre is located near the residential zone and supplies groceries, provisions, and other essential items. There is a bookshop situated in the shopping complex of the institute, where a Xerox facility is also available.
The institute has two banks situated on the campus, State Bank of Patiala and Canara Bank. Both banks are regular branches on the campus and are housed in the same building.
There are ten boy hostels and three girls' hostels. The facilities of the reading room, indoor games, washing machines, etc. are available in each hostel.
The NITJ campus comes under a separate postal zone and it is a postal delivery office. The post office is located in the dispensary building and works all weekdays from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. and from 9.00 A.M. to 2.00 P.M. on Saturdays.
