Scholarship or Fee Waiver
- IIITB provides a limited number of scholarships divided into two categories: Merit-based and Need-based. Additionally, there are specific scholarships available, namely the CGI scholarship for Girl students and the Utkarsha scholarship for top performers
- Merit-based scholarships are granted based on academic accomplishments, while Need-based scholarships are awarded according to financial needs
- Need-based scholarships may cover full or partial tuition fees, along with a monthly stipend. On the other hand, Merit-based scholarships offer only a monthly stipend.
- The Utkarsha Scholarship covers 100% tuition fee and is awarded to the top 5 students on merit basis provided they have a JEE Main CRL Rank below 999. The scholarship continues for all 5 years provided the candidate maintains a CGPA of 3.6 or above.
- The CGI Scholarship is awarded to the top 20 female students based on merit and covers 100% of the tuition fees for the first semester.
- The scholarships are awarded for one year and may be renewed based on the students’ academic performance.
